On the subject of my gallery

Thu Jul 5, 2007, 12:47 PM
The photos here are basically a result of me + digital camera + absolutely no experience or knowledge (about photography, that is).

Anywho, by no means do I think these photos are anything special and I'm not here to get any intense criticism, but friendly suggestions are more than welcome. I'm always willing to improve myself, but for the most part I'm content just having fun with my camera taking photos of pretty (and sometimes not so pretty) things I see.

Great pics, especially Lifeguard Chair, Convent, the one with the long narrow entranceway(my favorite). Appreciate the Watch, too!!

Thank you for the watch! I love you photos. Mind I asking what camera do you use and if you had a choice of camera which one would it be and why? Sorry, I'm curious because I want a camera myself and am in need of recommendations. Thank you for your time!

Thanks you for your complements! I appreciate it.

I was actually at the NYCC panel where they announced King of RPGs, which I've never read, but your art really grabbed me, so I imagine I will probably be reading it. :)

As far as camera info...I'm currently using a Canon PowerShot A700. It's a few years old, so I don't know if they're making it anymore, but it's a happy medium between a basic point and shoot and a full-on digital SLR. It gives me enough control without overwhelming me, so I like it. I would definitely recommend a Canon if only because the camera software interface is the best designed that I've come across. I find that most other camera interfaces have really poor usability in general.

My dream camera would probably be any kind of digital SLR, but they're so pricey that I have yet to get my hands on one in order to form a proper opinion.

I hope that helps...

Thank you so much for the info... and wow, I can't believe you were actually at the announcement! I wish I was there.
